HIRING UNIT:      SCHOOL OF BUSINESS
                           ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT
TITLE/RANK:       Full Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, or Instructor

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:     Responsibilities include teaching, research, and professional activities as well as other duties associated with academic teaching positions.

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT:    Academic beginning August 16, 2009.  9 months beginning August, 2009 through continuing.  Percent of appointment 100%.

SOURCE OF FUNDS:      State

SALARY RANGE:     Competitive and commensurate with qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:       Specialization in financial accounting, qualified to teach financial accounting at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.  Ph.D. required, but ABD's nearing completion will be considered.  Professional certification and experience are desirable.  Evidence of demonstrated teaching competence and appropriate skills to perform meaningful research and to engage in professional activities.
