Internships offered through the MPA program allow our students to:

• Gain in Valuable & Practical
• Experience Work with Area Public and Nonprofit Organizations
• Earn up to 3 Hours of Graduate Credit
• 20 Hour Paid Per Week Internships

These positions involve an appointment as a Graduate Assistant by the Department of Public Administration and Policy Analysis.  Interns are paid at stipulated graduate assistant rates and receive a tuition waiver.

Interns are placed with public and nonprofit agencies and perform a variety of duties such as:

• Management Information Systems
• Personnel Administration
• Budgeting Activities
• other activities as required by the agency.
