Description:
The
earth science unit is centered around hydrological assessment of
river or stream ecosystems.
Students learn how climate, geology, and society affect water
quality.
Students build earth science knowledge and field skills while
using cartography, meteorology, and geology to investigate natural
and human influences on rivers.
The activities demonstrate to and involve students in
explanation of hydrological processes from the water cycle, to
stream processes, to the human interaction.
The unit contains all the materials needed for unit
assessments
