A collection of student writing about rivers.
Since
1990, students in the Rivers Project have used their adopted rivers as the
subjects of poems, short stories, social and natural history investigations and
scientific research papers.
Writing for "Meanderings" gives students the opportunity to see
the work of colleagues, as well as their own, published and available for
students in the future.
Several
editions may be published on yearly.
Rivers of the United States is a collection of student thoughts, ideas,
and experiences from around the country.
The Rivers of Illinois edition is dedicated to the rivers of the Prairie
State.
Copies
of past and current editions may be accessed from Rivers Project school
libraries, federal depository libraries, or the Library of Congress.
“Meanderings” may also be ordered from the Rivers Project.

Submissions are open to all students and should include: author, school, address, and date information. Writing should be submitted as hardcopy and on a 3.5-inch disk.
