Edwardsville Regional Science Olympiad February
16, 2008 |
||||
|
The Science Olympiad is
designed to be a hands-on competition to get students not only interested in,
but excited about, science. All events require teamwork, group planning and
cooperation. The emphasis is on learning, participation, interaction, having
fun and developing team spirit. The
rules are written such that they may be adapted for use in the average
science classroom and encompass all areas of science. Athletic-style medals are awarded to
student competitors for each event and championship trophies will go to
school whose team earns the highest overall point total in each
division. For more information about
the Edwardsville Regional Olympiad contact Dr. Tom Foster at the Office of
Science and Math Education (618) 650-3065. Congratulations to the winning teams!
We want to thank all of the schools that participated!
