This site has a wealth of information on how specific drugs affect the body.

bullet

During baseball season, steroids could be the focus of research. During DARE lessons, the focus could shift to alcohol, marijuana and cigarettes.

 

Extensions:

For groups that want to go into more areas of study, the websites listed throughout the unit also have areas devoted to brain diseases and disorders, sleeping problems and/ or dreams, brain injuries, anesthesiology and various careers in neuroscience areas.
