Your must have internet connections and a computer lab for your classroom or enough computers to group students around 5 or more computers. |

Using the Smart Board, log on the site http://library.thinkquest.org/J0113061/digging.htm (Digging into the Book). |

|
After going over the sections that the students can use and how they will be able to print off their final product to turn in, they can either get with a partner, individual or group (PIG activity). |
|
|
They will be choosing one of these sections, Digging into the Book, Wreck Room, Zero’s Math, Mess Tent, Warden’s Hot Science, Mr. Yelnats Inventions, Mr. Pendanski’s Tent, Stanley’s Fitness Page, or Madame Zeone’s Music. |

|
When they have completed one of these, they must print out a finished section or answer sheet and turn it in with the names of all members of their group written at the top. |
|
|
The papers that are turned in will be graded on the district grading scale with all group members receiving the same grade. |
