Criteria for Butterfly Garden Group Essay

 

  1. Describe the garden. (Shape, colors, size, aesthetics)

  2. Describe the butterflies that will be attracted to this garden.

  3. Describe the plants used in this garden and why you chose them.  Include the total cost of all of the plants.

  4. Describe anything else that goes in the garden and why you chose to use these items. (Accessories)

 

 

Individual Essay of Group Assessment

 

  1. Did everyone in the group participate?

  2. Describe what each person in the group did.

  3. What was the most fun part of the project?

  4. Give yourself a grade, giving reasons why you deserve this grade.

 

 

Criteria for the Presentation of the Butterfly Garden

 

  1. Each member must speak.

  2. Have a small-scale lay out of the garden on the graph paper.

  3. Show a large-scale lay out of the garden.  Tell the area given.

  4. Have a legend for the small and large scale gardens.

  5. Have visuals of the butterflies and plants used.

  6. Tell the estimated cost of each set of plants and the total cost of all of the plants.

  7. Tell the estimated cost of accessories.

  8. Read the group essay to the class.

 

Have a bibliography of the research used.
