Knowledge: Research and list the six plants used in your butterfly garden.

Butterfly ws1: Name the plant, Does this plant attract butterflies?, How much does this plant cost?, How tall do these plants get?, etc.

Comprehension: Summarize in essay form, why you chose these plants and accessories to place in your garden.

Butterfly ws2: Group Essay questions 1-4

Application: Determine the cost of each set of plants and the total cost of all of the plants.

Butterfly ws2: Group Presentation questions 6-7

Analysis:  Break down and discuss the process that goes into designing a Butterfly Garden.

Day 1: Discuss and write (as a class) down the process on how to go about designing a butterfly garden utilizing the chart made previously.

Synthesis: Design a small and large-scale lay out of the garden and present them to the class.
