Accommodations
Most of the participants of the Fourth
Conference on Function Spaces at SIUE
will stay in the newest student Residence Halls: Bluff Hall.
It is located near the center of the SIUE
campus, West of the Circle Drive in an easy walking distance from the
lecture hall.
The Residence Hall consists of 125 units.
Each unit is set up in a suite-style formation with two bedrooms and
a common bath; each bedroom has two twin beds. The cost is
$25/person/night if two people share a bedroom (that is 4
occupants per unit) and $35/person/night with one person per
bedroom (2 occupants per unit).
There are also several hotels in the area;
however, since the SIUE campus is located at the center of a
2660 acre wooded area, no hotel is within walking distance. Comfort
Inn (3080 S. SR 157 Edwardsville, IL 62025; tel.:
(618) 656-4900) is the closest one and is located at the
intersection of HWY 157 and Interstate 270, approximately 2.5
miles from the center of the campus. There is no restaurant
within
a walking distance from the hotel.
There are also several hotels and
restaurants in Collinsville, at the intersection of HWY 157
and Interstate 55, approximately 10 miles from the Campus.
