Rental texts are not provided for students who are enrolled exclusively in online or interactive video classes. If you are taking only online or video classes you must buy your books.

If you are enrolled in both online/interactive video and regular campus classes, you can get all of your books at SIUE’s Textbook Rental Service on the main SIUE campus.

• Academic Departments will submit textbook order to the bookstore (same procedure as on-campus classes).
• Textbook can be purchased in person at the bookstore or through the bookstore’s website: www.siue.edu/muc/bookstore.shtml. Textbook information is posted on-line and in the store approximately 3 weeks prior to the first day of the semester.
• Books ordered on-line can be shipped to the student via insured UPS or the student can opt to purchase books for in-store pick-up to avoid postage charges. The University Bookstore is located in the Morris University Center on the SIUE campus.
• There is a $6.00 shipping charge for the first book ordered with additional charges based on actual weight for additional books.
• Texts for dropped classes must be returned in new condition and in original wrapper within 30 days of the beginning of the semester. Postage charges for returned texts are not refundable.
