![]() Financial AidGrants, scholarships, loans, or student employment can be available to you while taking courses via distance learning, whether instruction is video or web-based. To receive financial aid for courses through SIUE, the primary requirement will be that you are admitted to SIUE as a degree-seeking student, or document with us that you are pursuing initial, not additional, teacher certification for the period you are taking distance learning courses. If you will be pursuing your degree through SIUE, you will follow the normal procedures for applying as described on our web site at www.siue.edu/financialaid/. Or, you may review available student jobs on-line at www.siue.edu/studentemployment/ once you are enrolled and financially cleared. If you are pursuing your degree through another Illinois institution, contact the Office of Student Financial Aid at that campus. It is possible that you can enroll in courses at that institution and SIUE, then receive financial aid through a consortium agreement between the two institutions. Information regarding our office hours, costs, programs, key dates, and other useful web sites can be found at www.siue.edu/financialaid/.
