PROGRAMS FOR INDEPENDENT STUDY (Modules)
Self-paced computer programs on grammar and rhetoric are available for students to work on at their own pace. These programs, called modules, cover various topics in grammar (fragments, subject-verb agreement, etc.) and rhetoric (organization, unity, etc.). Students can work on them whenever the Writing Center is open. Click here for more information.

CREDIT FOR ENGLISH 100
ENGLISH 100 (Writing Lab) gives students one hour of credit for completing modules and is awarded as a Pass/No Credit class. Two programs of study are available (grammar and rhetoric), but certain deadlines must be met in order to receive credit. Click here for more information.

WORKSHOPS
Workshops on a variety of topics are offered throughout the semester. Students are encouraged to check the list of topics offered and sign up for one. Sample topics include MLA & APA style, commas, subject-verb agreement, etc. Click here for more information on Fall 2007 workshops.
