College Level Examination Program

General Information

CLEP (College-Level Examination Program®) is the most widely accepted credit-by-examination program in the United States, with more than 2,900 colleges and universities awarding credit for satisfactory scores on CLEP exams. CLEP examinations measure knowledge of the material usually covered in various classes during the first two years of college. Some examinations may be used to meet general educational or liberal arts requirements while others may be used for credit for specific college courses. Check with the university you are attending or plan to attend to determine what exams will be accepted for credit. Complete information regarding CLEP can be found by visiting the College Board website by Clicking Here.
