-The WWW page of the Biblioth∓egraveque Nationale allows one to access manuscripts and card catalogues, and provides information on cultural exhibitions.
Northwestern
-With their WWW page you can access the libraries many collections including the Siege and Commune collection. This WWW page contains links to over 1200 digitized photographs and images recorded during the Siege and Commune of Paris cir.1871.In addition to the images in this set, the Library's Siege ∓ Commune Collection contains 1500 caricatures, 68 newspapers in hard-copy and film, hundreds of books and pamphlets and about 1000 posters. Additions are made regularly. The originals are located in Special Collections in the Deering Library at Northwestern University.

-This is the Number 1 French bookstore on the WWW. They offer editions, Michelin Guides, summaries of new books as well as CDs. You can order the items that you want or have them sent to someone else as a gift. You will also find here a French literary forum, sort of like a newgroup, where people publish manuscripts or poems or just discuss literature.

| Listservs
A listserv is a structured transfer of mail between Internet users who share a common interest. Any member of a listserv can send an e-mail message to all other members via the listserv. When you subscribe you will receive mail which will be read by all other members. To subscribe send an e-mail message to the listserv address. The body of your message should read:
SUBSCRIBE (name of list) (your first name) (your last name)
Example: "SUBSCRIBE Balzac John Doe"
Make sure that the mail program you are using has your e-mail address as a return address.
If not, someone may receive alot of mail they do not want.
If you are using a mail-capable browser, you may send mail to the list of your choice by selecting Subscribe within each description.
