Rates For Estimating, Coordination, and Equipment Rental
The fee structure for professional services and equipment rentals has been updated. The fee structure includes charges for estimating and project coordination by Facilities Management staff members as well as rates for rental of tools, equipment, and vehicles. Professional service rates of estimating and project coordination are based on architectural salaries and standard time and material rates of architectural/engineering firms, and include charges for miscellaneous items (e.g., long distance telephone calls, auto and mileage expenses, etc.). Rates for equipment rental are typical rates charged by outside companies and do not include labor to operate or deliver machinery. Fuel consumed during rental will be charged back in addition to the rental fees. The charges are per calendar day and will not be prorated for less than one day rental. Any damage to the item (s) becomes the full responsibility of the borrower, who must satisfy the repair/replacement costs.
