Edwardsville:

~NEW TRASH/RECYCLING SCHEDULE~

Building occupants who were on campus over the summer are well aware of the
changes in trash/recycling pick up. Trash is now picked up every other
week, recycling picked up every other week as well. The schedule is as
follows: October 1, 15 and 29, November 12 and 26, and December 10 are
weeks when recycling is picked up; October 8 and 22, November 5 and 19, and
December 3 and 17 are weeks for picking up trash. Any questions should be
directed to Steve Brandenburg at extension 2069.

Maintenance Updates

Edwardsville:

~DEFERRED MAINTENANCE PAINTING

The focus of the Deferred Maintenance painting program for FY08 will be
Dunham Hall. After painters begin in the more accessible areas of the
building (restrooms and hallways), they will move into the individual music
rooms. Dave Leonard, Painter Foreman, will meet with the Building
Coordinator for music room space availability.

The program to paint offices which are welcoming a new occupant continues;
contact FM at 3711 w/building and room number when the room becomes
available. FM will paint and clean the floor of the office.

~CHARGE OUT WORK

Facilities Management is transitioning to a new work order system, one that
uses the AIS account numbers. If departments requesting charge out work
would include both the FAS and AIS account numbers, it would be a great help!

Management Messages

Edwardsville:

Facilities Management crafts have been working this week preparing the base
for the bronze Cougar statue to be erected at the north entrance (facing
Stratton Quadrangle) of Morris University Center. The base is made of
concrete and brick. Dedication of the statue will take place Wednesday,
October 3, 2007, at noon.
