ENVIRONMENTAL FACULTY Program faculty and affiliated faculty provide instruction for both required and elective courses.  In addition, program and affiliated faculty advise students, serve as research mentors, thesis chairperson and committee members. Adjunct faculty serve a variety of functions.  They serve as instructors, provide research internships for students, provide research mentoring, and increase research opportunities for students.   The final component of the programâs faculty is the instructors or call staff.  These faculty are professionals in the environmental field that are teaching specialized courses.
