CANCELLED!! Due to incoming stormy weather, the English Department Picnic scheduled for Saturday April 25 has been cancelled. The event will be rescheduled in the fall.
According to a report by the Center on Education and the Workforce at Georgetown University, between now and 2020 judgment/decision-making, communications, and analysis will be three of the four most in-demand competencies in the labor market. These are the competencies that the curricula of the majors and minors in the Department are designed to develop in students.
