Having abandoned his hopes of surpassing the skill of William Shakespeare, Robert now spends most of his time reading novels and hoping that he never wakes up to discover, to his horror, that people have realized how abnormal he really is. His only greater fear is that he will discover, to his horror, that he isn't abnormal at all, and that everybody else is weird, too.
