Jason Braun is a senior year English student. He comes from a mostly German Catholic family of farmers, but pretends to be an Italian from the East Coast. He was an editor for South West Illinois College's Head to Hand and our The River Bluff Review. He won the 1999 River Front Times' short story competition and has poetry forthcoming in the River King Poetry Supplement. "It helps to take pills," is his mantra.
