Dr. Tongele N. Te-Alakebanga joined ME faculty as an Assistant Professor in the Fall Semester of 2004. Dr. Tongele received his Ph.D. from The Catholic University of America, Washington, DC. Before joining SIUE, he was an environmental engineer for the Washington D. C. Government, Department of Health, Environmental Health Administration, Bureau of Environmental Quality.
