Chad Winkler, Professor of Mechanical Engineering, wrote a paper on the "Evaluation of subgrid scale kinetic energy models in large eddy simulations of turbulent channel flow" that was published in the International Journal of Numerical Methods for Heat and Fluid Flow, Vol. 16 No. 2. Among 450 new research articles, this paper was one of the 10 noteworthy articles chosen by Emerald's Managing Editors for inclusion in the May issue.
