Congratulations to Mr. Arun Rajendran for being the winner of the best presentation at the 2006 Graduate Student Symposium. Arun enrolled at SIUE in the fall 2004 to pursue a Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.  In the fall 2005, Arun began working with Dr. Albert C.J. Luo on Structural Dynamics. His Thesis work involves motion prediction for a Hysterically Damped Semi-Active Suspension. The motivation is to provide a cost effective and comfortable suspension system. Before coming to SIUE Arun earned a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering at REC Trichy, India, and after completing his Thesis work Arun plans to pursue a Doctorate in same field.
