Albert Luo Elected as ASME Fellow!
Albert C.J. Luo, associate
professor of mechanical and industrial engineering at SIUE, has
been awarded the Fellow Grade of ASME. He is one of two
researchers elected as Fellow for 2007 by the Technical
Committee of Vibration and Sound. In addition, Professor Luo is
the first Fellow in the SIUE School of Engineering. The Fellow
Grade recognizes significant engineering achievement and
contributions to the engineering profession. ASME was founded in
1880 as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and is
currently a 120,000-member professional organization focused on
technical, educational, and research issues of the engineering
and technology community.
