The Aerodynamics Laboratory houses a subsonic wind tunnel which is used for both research and undergraduate education. The wind tunnel operates as a closed loop with a two-stage axial flow fan driven by a 300 hp electric motor. The air temperature is controlled by a heat exchanger located before the test section. This will provide a stable and high quality air flow for research. Many different models can be tested within the test section. For more information on this laboratory contact Professor Majid Molki.
