Welcome to the website of Mechanical Engineering, a unit of the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. We offer rigorous undergraduate and graduate programs of study in a stimulating academic environment. We take pride to provide personal attention to our students. Our talented students won national awards. Most of graduates either pursue further graduate study or gain full-time professional employment.

Our outstanding faculty members are actively engaged in research and professional service to the industry. Some of them are internationally recognized. Our laboratories feature outstanding equipment to serve the students and research projects. Examples include one of the largest wind-tunnels and materials testing-machine in the greater St. Louis area.
