• Graduate Assistantship

  Applicants of exceptional qualifications may be considered for graduate assistantship. A half time graduate assistant currently receives about $700/month stipend plus tuition waiver. A quarter time graduate assistant currently receives about $300/month plus tuition waiver. Applicants who wish to be considered for a graduate assistantship should request and complete an Application Form for Graduate Assistantship. The applicants must have been accepted to the program before assistantship may be considered. To receive full consideration for assistantship, the application should be completed by March 15 for Fall Semester and October 1 for Spring Semester.

  Applications received after the above dates may be considered if a vacancy is available. Continuation of graduate assistantship is contingent on satisfactory progress toward degree requirements and satisfactory performance on the assigned duty on graduate assistantship. Summer assistantship is not guaranteed.
