This course was designed to provide an umbrella entry in the catalog to provide credit for independent study or special one-time seminar type classes on current topics in industrial or manufacturing engineering.

Professional Component:

This course provides students a supervised opportunity for independently studying a current topic in industrial or manufacturing engineering. It also provides a method for conducting one-time seminar courses and developing new courses applying new concepts. These independent studies and courses are normally engineering topics course with some engineering design.
