ILLINOIS TRANSPORTATION RESEARCH CENTER

REQUESTS FOR PROPOSAL

Requests for proposal (RFP) for ITRC sponsored research are issued on a periodic basis.  Primary distribution is through the Research Committee to the sponsoring universities.  Three or more RFPs are issued per year, typically in January, with selection of projects in late spring, and project start dates in August.  Projects are not more than 2 years' duration, and funding levels vary between $50,000 and $200,000 on a typical project.

"Nighttime Construction:  Evaluation of Lighting Glare for Highway Construction in Illinois"
