Credit Courses and Programs
ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS
OFF-CAMPUS UNDERGRADUATE CREDIT COURSES
ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION
You must be officially admitted to SIUE, and must have a complete admission
file, before you are permitted to enroll in courses for academic credit.
Call the SIUE Admissions Office at 618/650-2080 to apply.
IMMUNIZATION
Please note that you will be required to comply with the State of Illinois'
immunization requirement. Call 618/650-2843 for information and to request
the Immunization Form, click Health
Service.
TUITION AND FEES
The following charges are for in-state residents. Rates may vary for out-of-state
residents or for special courses.

Tuition

ON-CAMPUS AND OFF-CAMPUS
COMBINED
If you are enrolled in both on-campus and off-campus classes, you will
be assessed tuition and fees for on-campus courses, plus tuition and the
off-campus fee for off-campus courses.
PAYMENT
All enrolled students are automatically included in the University's Installment
Payment Plan. A $20.00 user fee is charged for each academic term you
elect to use the Installment Plan. If you do not want to use the Installment
Payment Plan, you must pay your tuition and fee charges in full at the
time of registration. At the time of registration you should be prepared
to pay at least one-fourth of your tuition and fee bill, plus any other
charges you may owe (such as parking fines, books, fees, etc.). Payment
may be made by MasterCard, VISA, Discover, check or money order. See the
Installment Payment brochure for details.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Students with SIUE Cooperating Teachers Scholarship, or who are SIUE employees,
pay only the student fees.. SIUC and SIU Medical School employees do not
pay tuition or fees. SCHOLARSHIP FORMAND/OR EMPLOYEE DOCUMENTATION
MUST BE INCLUDED WITH YOUR REGISTRATION FORM. For information about any

of Student Financial Aid directly at 618/650-3880.

DIRECTORY INFORMATION
Under the Public Law 93-380, some type of student information may be made
available to the general public, unless the student has filed written
objection to this release. Directory information will also be included
in the published SIUE student telephone directory. Directory information
includes name, address, telephone number, email address, dates of attendance,
field of study, and other academic information. If you wish to file a
written objection, ask your registrar for the form.
TEXTBOOKS
Textbooks must be purchased. Books will be sold on-site at the first class
meeting. After the first class meeting books are available at the SIUE
Bookstore on the main campus, or by mail. Call 618/650-3210 for more information.
LIBRARY PRIVILEGES
Off-campus students may use all facilities of Lovejoy Library. You may
access the library using the library
online.
DROPS AND REFUND
Drop/Refund requests must be made in writing to the Office of Educational
Outreach. Do not just stop attending class without officially dropping
the class or withdrawing from the University. You will be liable for payment
of tuition and fees for classes that you do not officially drop.
