All section 701 classes are hybrid on-line classes, requiring face-to-face class meetings. In person attendance for the first class meeting is mandatory. If you are unable to attend the first class meeting, you must make other arrangements with the instructor prior to the beginning of the semester. |

ADMISSION: Admission to SIUE is required
and may be initiated during registration (graduate students only).
There is a separate $30 application fee which must
accompany your application if you have never attended SIUE, or if you have been
inactive for more than 9 semesters. YOU MUST COMPLETE THE
APPLICATION PROCESS DURING THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF THE TERM. REGISTRATION
AND APPLICATION MATERIALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF
THE TERM.
IMMUNIZATION: Please note that you will be required to comply with the State of Illinois immunization requirement. Call 618-650-2843 for information and to request the immunization form. To download the form: www.siue.edu/HEALTH/
REGISTRATION: Registration is on-line utilizing Banner. Access Banner via the SIUE web page: www.siue.edu. If you do not have a Banner PIN from your advisor call 618-650-3215 for assistance. NOTE: Please make sure that you have an E-id, and be sure to check your SIUE email frequently!

COST: The general tuition and fee structure for off campus courses is as follows:
Graduate Students - $236.25 per credit hour plus $234.85 per class.
Total for one 3.0 semester hour class: $943.60
TUITION/FEES: At the time of registration you should be prepared to pay one-fourth of your total tuition and fees, plus $20 service charge, , plus any other charges you may owe (such as parking fines, book fees, etc.). Payment may be made by check, money order, MasterCard, VISA or Discover. There is a $20 fee to use installment payment.
TEXTBOOKS: Textbooks for off campus courses may be purchased at registration, or at the SIUE Bookstore, either in person or via the SIUE Bookstore on-line order form at: http://books.siuebookstore.com/cgi-bin/main_lookup.exe.
DROPS: Drop/Refund requests must
be made in writing to the Office of Educational Outreach.
NOTE: Do not just stop attending class;
you will still be officially enrolled and will be responsible for payment of
tuition and fees.
Special Drop/Add Dates are in effect for 8-Week Courses. Call 618-650-3210 for details.
Weeks 1-2 |
You may drop without permission and have no entry on transcript. Full refund of tuition and fees. Workshops: full refund if not more than 20% of class time has elapsed. |
Weeks 3-4 |
Students may drop without permission. Grade of ‘W’ automatically assigned. Partial refund of tuition and fees. |
Weeks 5-8 |
Instructor and advisor
signature required. Grade of ‘WP’ or ‘WE’ assigned.
No refund of tuition and fees. |
