Jim Mager
Director, OTC

Jim Mager came to SIUE in 1986 as Director of the Technology Commercialization center.
In addition to teaching courses in management and marketing, he continues work with area organizations to provide employee training. Jim has a B.S. in Industrial Education and Technology from Western Illinois University and M.B.A. from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He is a member of the American society for Quality (ASQ) and the American Marketing Association.

Dave Heth
Trainer
|
Dave Heth has been SIUE's Finance Director
since 1993. He previously spent fourteen years with McDonnell
Douglas in St. Louis and Florida, and also worked in public
accounting. In addition to finance, Dave has held positions
in manufacturing and program management. He has facilitated
management development programs for more than twenty years.
Dave, a CPA, has a B.S. in Accounting from the University of
Illinois, an MBA from SIUE, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education
from St. Louis University.

Mal Goldsmith
Trainer

Dr. Mal Goldsmith is Professor and Coordinator of Health Education at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. With over 25 years experience in health promotion andeducation, Dr. Goldsmith has been recognized nationally and internationally for his leadership and contributions in the field of public health. As a consultant to the Federal Government and to numerous organizations, his enthusiasm, experience and teaching ability have helped participants grasp skills in stress management, dealing with conflict, time management, maximizing productivity, interpersonal relations and utilizing humor, as well as other skills. Philip Holcomb
|
Philip Holcomb joins the Office of Technology and Commerce after completing his work with the SIUE Small Business Development Center. At the SBDC, Mr. Holcomb was a client counselor and assisted clients in starting up their small businesses. In addition to the SBDC, he has worked for Southwest Airlines and McDonald's Corporation in customer service and training and development. Mr. Holcomb is currently studying Spanish and Speech Communication and plans to pursue a teaching career upon graduating from SIUE. Phil is the third generation of his family to attend SIUE in addition to his grandfather, Jim Holcomb, who was an Academic Advisor |

Darlyne Alldredge
Secretary
|
Darlyne Alldredge joined the staff of the School of Business, SIUE, in '87. As secretary in the Office of Technology and Commerce, she coordinates training meetings, assists the trainers with their preparations, and designs brochures to publicize the training topics offered by the department. Darlyne aids corporate clients when they need information regarding training. Her outside interests include church-related activities and leaded art glass design.
