Your responsibility to provide quality training to your employee is vitally important to the success of both your organization and you personally. We understand that developing and delivering successful training programs can be quite challenging. Here at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville°s Office of Technology and Commerce, we are dedicated to helping make your job easier.
Located in the School of Business, our mission is to provide quality-training services to organizations in Southern Illinois and the St. Louis, Missouri, metropolitan area. With a 20-year history, the Office of Technology and Commerce has been enhancing the productivity of its clients by providing top-notch supervisory and managerial training.
In addition to improving the managerial skills of organizational staff, the center has also distinguished itself in training designed to increase the productivity of non-managerial staff. Examples of such training are in communications, customer service, handling negative behavior, and stress management‹to name a few.
Our training programs are specifically designed to meet the requirements of our clients. We do not use a —cookie-cutterî approach to training. We strive to ensure that our training provides a practical approach to developing skills that will add to the productivity and development of employees. It is also important to note that Continuing Education Units (CEU°s) can be issued for courses offered through this office. These CEU°s can be very important to employees who find it necessary to have documentation of continuing education to maintain various certifications.
