Admission
Requirements and Procedures
All applicants must first complete the Graduate School application. Applicants who satisfy the general admission requirements of the Graduate School will then be considered for admission to the Master's program in Biotechnology Management. Within the program, graduate students are expected to maintain a B average (3.0) in course work; therefore, applicants with less than a B average as undergraduate students and/or GRE combined verbal/quantitative scores lower than 1050 should provide evidence that they can do graduate-level coursework in an acceptable manner. Applicants should submit scores (verbal, quantitative, analytical) from
the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) to the Department of Biological
Sciences. Prospective students also must provide a statement
describing their goals and interests in pursuing the Biotechnology
Management Master's degree and a minimum of two supporting letters of
recommendation (preferably from your instructors). The deadline for
submitting these materials for the next session (fall 2009) is February 28, 2009 and
applications will be reviewed during the first two weeks of March, 2009.
