February 27, 2008 SIUE Meets Truman State          EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. -- The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville women's tennis team will host its first home match of the season as the Truman State Bulldogs face off against the Cougars.          At 1-0 overall, the Cougar coaching staff feels good about this weekend's competition. SIUE's previous dual match was a 9-0 victory over Lindenwood during the fall season. Carli Connors (Belleville) led SIUE at No. 1 singles in the win.          "I am very optimistic about this weekend, and I expect quick starts from our players. If we can get the quick starts this weekend, then we should have some pretty good results this," said Updyke.          Saturday's match will be held at the Meyer Center YMCA in Edwardsville, Ill.
