Women’s Tennis Opens 2-0
“I am pleased to get two conference wins,” said SIUE women’s tennis Coach Bill Logan. “It was good to walk away victorious. Despite the victories, we need to get back to the drawing board on doubles and singles. Everyone needs to improve.”
Amber Stanley (Effingham), Laura Zeeb (Greenville), and Keli Keener (Bethalto) were all victorious in the wins over Saint Joseph’s and Lewis. “It was good to have the first match under our belts,” said Logan. “There are always some first match jitters.”
This weekend the Cougars will host Quincy on Saturday at 9 a.m. and then travel to the University of Missouri-St. Louis for a 4 p.m. match.
