May 24, 2003 Carducci Places 12th Southern Illinois University Edwardsville's Carrie Carducci (Powell, Ohio) placed 12th in the finals of the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Edwardsville. Only the top eight in the event were named All-American. Carducci finished in a time if 11 minutes, 37.03 seconds. The winning time was Kadri Kelve of Emporia State who ran the event in 10:22.81.
