September 9, 2007 Yearian's Late Goal Lifts Cougars          EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. - Katie Yearian scored with 1:16 left to go in Sunday's women's soccer game as Southern Illinois University Edwardsville defeated Southern Indiana 1-0.          Yearian took advantage of her only shot of the game on a pass from Kiara Akpore. It ended two halves of frustration for the Cougars, now 3-1-1 overall and 2-0 in the GLVC.          SIUE managed 14 shots, many of which were one-on-one against USI goalkeeper Meagan Homolla. The USI goalie picked up five saves.          The Cougars split its duties in goal with Kim Roady and Kaci Backs picking up a second straight shutout.          Southern Indiana is now 0-4 overall and 0-2 in the GLVC.          The Cougars now take to the road to play Drury and Rockhurst next Friday and Sunday, respectively.                   -siue cougars-
