August 26, 2007 Boxscore SIUE Women's Soccer Open Season with a Tie          EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - It didn't take long for the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville women's soccer team to get its first goal of the season.          Just three minutes into the match Katie Yearian hooked up with Elizabeth Valenti for the Cougars' first goal and assist of the season.          For the next 80 minutes SIUE goalies Kaci Backs and Kim Roady were able to keep Newberry off the scoreboard. At the 84- minute mark, Lindsey Landgrebe connected with Inga Woiwode for Newberry's only goal of the contest.          Needing two overtime periods to complete the contest, neither team was able to score the go-ahead goal in the overtime periods.          SIUE heads to Big Rapids, Mich., to take on Ferris State Friday.
