        Southern Illinois University Edwardsville women’s soccer players, Kristi Stedman and Tasha Siegel, were named to the 1999 NSCAA/adidas Division II Women All Regional second team.

        Stedman, of Florissant, Mo., earned her second consecutive second team All-Region honor at the midfield position. She finished her senior season with five goals and five assists in 19 starts. Stedman served as team captain and led the team in three game-winning goals.

        Siegel, of Maryville, Ill., started all 19 games her sophomore season as a defender. She recorded four goals and one assist this season. Siegel earned first team All-Region honors in 1998.
