March 14, 2008 Pretto Out at NCAAs CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Southern Illinois University Edwardsville freshman Eric Pretto was ousted from the NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships Friday. Pretto lost a pair of close matches in his two opportunities on the mat. In the opening round, Pretto lost a 5-2 decision to Mercyurst's Andy Lamancusa. In the evening wrestleback, Pretto dropped a 3-2 decision to Wayne State's Neil Samples. Pretto completed the season with a 21-17 record in his first season as a Cougar. -siue cougars- |
