SIUE Women's Golf Takes 10th
         ALLENDALE, MICH. - Junior Megan Hood (Coulterville) placed 35th as Southern Illinois University Edwardsville's top finisher at the Laker Fall Classic.
         The Cougars placed 10th as a team at The Meadows in the two-day tournament. SIUE finished with a 36-hole score of 677. Host Grand Valley State walked away with the team title with a two-round score of 608.
         Hood played steady rounds of 81-82 for a 163. Kirstin Fischer was the next best finisher for SIUE in 61st place after shooting rounds of 80-92.
         SIUE is now idle until Sept. 15-16 whe it travels to Normal for the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Golf Classic.
