SIUE Women's Golf Improves in National Rankings
         Fresh off its first Great Lakes Valley Conference title, the SIUE women's golf team continues to be recognized.
         In the final GolfStat rankings, SIUE ranks 14th nationally among NCAA Division II women's golf teams with a 325.50 scoring average. That average also is good for fourth in the region. SIUE's team score of 301 in the first round of the GLVC Tournament was the third best round in the nation this season.
         Individually, GLVC Freshman of the Year Kallie Harrison (Decatur) is 20th in the nation and sixth in the region with a 78.80 scoring average. She has the lowest scoring average nationally among freshman.
         Katie Farrell's (Princeton) 81.50 scoring average is good for 15th in the region. Kacy Gruenkemeyer (Salem) finished 20th in the region with an 82.60 scoring average. Brittany Auld (Nashville) ranked 29th in the region with an 83.90 scoring average.
