Three SIUE Golfers Earn Academic Honors
         Southern Illinois University Edwardsville golfers Brittany Auld (Nashville), Deanna Bock (Edwardsville) and Kristi Novak (Highland) have been named to the National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team.
         The criteria for selection includes a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 and the student-athletes must have competed in at least 66 percent of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
         Auld, a Biology major, finished the year with a 90.8 scoring average. She finished fourth at the SIUE Invitational.
         Bock, a CMIS major, was second on the squad with a scoring average of 88.0. She attended SIUE on a Provost Scholarship. Bock previously was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-Region At-Large College Division team. She holds a 4.0 grade point average.
         Novak, a Marketing major, finished the season with a 91.9 scoring average. She shot a season low 175 at the Illini Spring Classic.
         All together, 297 women's collegiate golfers were recognized with the prestigious honor.
