New Business

I. Subcommittees

a. Conference Committee

-       Members: Kay Covington (chair), Kay Guse, Bob Wetzel,     

         A.G. Monaco

-       Charge:  To conduct the analysis and review of conference participation. The committee would review all options and provide a detailed report back to the Athletic Task Force committee along with their recommendation as what would be best for SIUE Intercollegiate Athletics.   

b. Cost Benefit Analysis Committee

- Members: John Meisel (chair), Rich Hampton, Kathleen Tunney, Meredith Burkart

- Charge: To conduct the analysis and review of all financial information needed to make an informed decision and formulate revenues needed to support options being proposed. The committee will review all costs benefits of the options being considered and provide a detailed report back to the Athletic Task Force committee along with their recommendation as what would be most beneficial for SIUE Intercollegiate Athletics.

c. Facilities Committee

- Members: Mike Schultz (chair), Ben Dickmann, Rachel Aubrey, Bob Plummer

- Charge: To conduct the analysis and review of all current and needed facilities to support the options being considered. The committee will review all issues related to facilities and provide a detailed report back to the Athletic Task Force committee along with their recommendation as what would be most beneficial for SIUE Intercollegiate Athletics.

d. Academic Impact Committee

- Members: Liz Fonseca (chair), Elzora Douglas, Boyd Bradshaw, Jonathon Bannister

- Charge: To study the impact any options being considered would have on academics. The committee will review all issues related to academics and provide a detailed report back to the Athletic Task Force committee along with their recommendation as what would be most beneficial for SIUE Intercollegiate Athletics.
