USE OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT IN THE VADALABENE CENTER AND THE HEALTH AND FITNESS CENTER BY STUDENT-ATHLETES

Student-athletes are expected to follow the existing recreational policies that apply to all students.

Newly recruited student-athletes and returning student-athletes who have returned to campus for scheduled pre-season practices, but are not currently enrolled in summer classes, may receive a temporary pass which will permit use of recreational facilities until the official fall term begins. The head coach shall provide the recreation director with a list of student-athletes, plus ID numbers, who are on campus for official pre-

season practice. Temporary user passes will be returned to the coach for distribution to the student-athlete.

ATHLETES WEIGHT ROOM POLICY

There will be assigned times for athletics teams or student-athletes (only) to use the weight room. These times will vary from semester to semester.

While in the weight room, all rules and regulations of the weight room will be followed.

A coach must be present when a team is using the weight room.

If you are using the weight room during a general recreation period, remember that it is not the private property of the athletics program and other users have rights too!
