September 10, 2006 Men’s Tennis Feels Positive After First Tournament          The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Men’s Tennis team posted a 15-15 overall record versus some tough competition at the Western Illinois University tournament this past weekend.          "We had an overall singles record of 10-8 which I am very happy with," said SIUE men’s tennis associate coach Kyler Updyke. "The finish shows that we are much stronger than we were that this time last year."          Strong finishers for the Cougars included Mike Jolly (Jacksonville) and Andrew Reznack (Edwardsville).          "Jolly lost in a three set match in his flight leading to a second place finish in the D flight," added Updyke.          Updyke believes that the team really needs to work on its doubles play going into the next tournament.          The Cougars next tournament will be held at Eastern Illinois University Sept. 16-17.                   -siue cougars-
