Cougars Begin Season at Home
The SIUE men’s tennis team will begin its season Tuesday at 3 p.m. with a match against Missouri-St. Louis.
The Cougars will then travel for matches with Northern Kentucky on Friday and Indianapolis on Saturday.
SIUE’s first three opponents are all ranked in the top 10 of the Midwest region. Indianapolis is fourth. Missouri-St. Louis is fifth, and Northern Kentucky is seventh.
“We are going to do our best and see what happens,” Coach Bill Logan said. “We’ve worked hard and are ready to play.”
The women’s squad will play host to McKendree on Wednesday at 3 p.m. and Illinois-Springfield Sunday at 1 p.m.
All home matches are played at SIUE’s tennis courts near the Vadalabene Center.
