Southern Illinois University Edwardsville COLLEGE MEN'S TENNIS April 5, 2002 Southern Indiana Overpowers Cougars          EVANSVILLE, Ind. - With five straight-sets victories in singles, Southern Indiana eased past Southern Illinois Edwardsville 8-1 in men's college tennis action Friday.          SIUE (4-4, 3-1 GLVC) suffered its first Great Lakes Valley Conference defeat. Chris Rigdon (Glen Carbon) was the lone Cougar to win a match. Rigdon defeated Daniel Halim in a super tie-breaker 11-9, which replaced the third set. Both players had won a set apiece.          The Cougars return to action Saturday at Bellarmine, facing the Knights in a 9 a.m. match in Louisville, Ky. Southern Indiana 8, SIUE 1 Singles 1.
